Lake Sullivan was created for the purpose of flood control and conservation under Public Law 566. The 461-acre lake provides excellent water recreational opportunities. The adjacent 460-acre park provides a camping environment to enhance the use of the lake and offers alternative recreational activities.
The lake is stocked with Channel Catfish, Saugeye and Walleye. The lake also has bluegill, bass and crappie.
If you have ever dreamed of catching “the big one”, Sullivan Lake is the place for you. Pictured on the right is an 8 pound 3 ounce saugeye which was a state record landed in the Sullivan lake.
