WRBM conducted the sixth tournament of the 2019 season at Geist Reservoir in Fishers, IN, on September 8, 2019, and Geist did not let the anglers down. After a miserable bite at Hardy, Geist delivered with 4 limits and some solid creels. WRBM had 14 anglers participate in this mid-summer tournament. Neil Queisser won this slug out from the back of the boat where he landed 5 keepers for 13.45 lb.’s of bass. Second place honors went to Fred Crawford who weighed in 5 keepers, his going for 11.9 lbs. Josh Cole wasn’t far behind also weighing in 5 keepers, his going for 11.59 lb.’s and good for 3rd place. Taking 4th place honors was Ben Dietzel who also weighted in a 5 fish limit, his going for 10.91 lb.’s. Rounding out the top 5 was Greg Thomas who weighed in 4 bass for 8.93 lb.’s. Big Bass went to Scott Delpha who weighed in a beautiful 4.82 lb. Geist Reservoir bass. In total WRBM had 14 anglers bring 36 keeper bass to the scales for a total creel limit of 86.15 lbs and an average weight per bass of 2.39 lbs. Awesome results and somewhat expected when it comes to Geist. WRBM is at it again for the final tournament of 2019 (the 7th tournament of the year) at Lake Shafer on September 29, 2019. After that it is on to Lake St. Clair for the Classic.
