On Sunday, March 15th, White River Bass Masters (WRBM) had the second leg of the 2012 campaign at Morse Reservoir. Reports were coming in all week of a good bite on the Noblesville lake. Storms blew through Saturday and straight winds out of the south made for uncertain group of anglers heading out in the morning. The tournament was won by a 5.05lb kicker bass brought in by Bob Foxworthy. Bob had 4 bass totaling 12.58lbs including Big Bass. David Replogle took second place with a 5 fish limit weighing 11.47lbs. There was a log jam with 5 anglers catching 2 bass each, but Matt Drew had enough to claim third place with 2 bass for 5.42lbs. Fish seemed to be caught all over the lake with most having access to deeper water. WRBM’s next tournament will be May 6th on the White River (Broad Ripple pool).
