The White River Bass Masters (WRBM) conducted the 4th tournament of the 2012 season at Monroe Reservoir in Bloomington, IN, on Sunday, June 10. The fishing was tough on all accounts as the field struggled to find bites. This was consistent with the dock talk coming in as many anglers testified Monroe was fishing tough of late. This was validated when only 19 keeper bass were weighed in during this tournament. The weather was hot with a few scattered clouds moving through during the day. The pleasure boaters were out in full force making runs across the lake more difficult. Dave Replogle continued his dominance grinding out 5 keeper bass that lapped the field for 10.15 lbs. This is Dave’s second win of the season in four events. Dave found his bite deep and late in the day according to reports. Todd Irwin took second place with 2 keepers weighing 4.67 lb’s. Dave’s co-angler Brad Breeden took 3rd place and big bass honors with 1 keeper weighing 4.15. Rounding out the top 5 were Steve Haas with 2 bass weighing 4.03 lbs. and Trey Green with 2 bass that went 3.71 lbs. WRBM’s next event will be on Sunday, July 1, at Brookville Reservoir in Brookville, IN.
