The White River Bass Masters (WRBM) conducted the 6th tournament of the 2012 season at Cataract Lake near Cloverdale, IN, on Sunday, August 5th. Going into the tournament the word on the streets was that fish could be caught but the fishing was a grind. This has been a similar theme for the entire year and one angler has shined when the fishing has been a grind. Dave Replogle picked up his third win of the season by weighing in one largemouth that also took Big Bass at 5.8 lbs. This is the second tournament in a row that one fish has wheeled the tournament win along with Big Bass. The angler that did that at Brookville tried again but fell short at Cataract. Rick Goodyear ended up in second place with one very solid fish weighing 4.93 lb’s. Just behind Rick in third place was Steve Hass. Steve also had one very solid fish resulting in 4.90 lbs. Rounding out the top 5 were Tim Cooper with 3 bass weighing 4.62 lbs. and Neil Queisser with 2 bass that went 3.26 lbs. WRBM’s next event will be on Sunday, September 9th, at Patoka Lake near French Lick, IN.
