The White River Bass Masters (WRBM) held the 4th tournament of the 2014 regular season at Mississinewa Reservoir near Peru, IN, on Sunday, June 22, 2014. Similar to Monroe, Mississinewa has a reputation to be a tough fishery and for the most part proved to be that way for the WRBM field during this tournament.
One angler was able to figure out how and where to catch them on this day. Bob Streib weighed in 5 bass that went 10.63 pounds to take the win. Word at the weigh in is that Bob lost 3 big fish or his day could have been even more dominating. Even so Bob’s bag was almost 5 pounds greater than the nearest competitor. Coming in 2nd place with 3 bass that went an even 6 pounds was Neil Queisser. The strong finish pushed Neil into second place in the Angler of the Year (AOY) points race. In the AOY race, Neil is trailing the angler who took 3rd place at Mississinewa. Josh McDermott also brought 3 bass to the scales and took 3rd place with 5.94 pounds. Big bass of the tournament went to David Titara who brought in a nice 4.31 pound Largemouth. David also finished with a total of 5.56 pounds for the tournament….good enough for 4th place. 5th place went to Danny Spratt that had 3 fish that went 4.25 pounds.
WRBM will be at it again on July 20th at Morse Reservoir in Noblesville, IN.
