The White River Bass Masters (WRBM) held the 6th tournament of the 2014 regular season at Glenn Flint Lake near Greencastle, IN, on Sunday, August 17, 2014. Glenn Flint had been fishing very tough according to other tournament trails held there in August. The WRBM field showed up not knowing what to expect with very unseasonably colder temps holding through August.

Jared Schwedler showed up strong and put together an impressive 5 bass sack that weighed in at 14.21 pounds to handily take the win. Word at the weigh in was that Jared caught some of his limit on top water. Jared also admitted to throwing a jerk bait to catch some fish. Coming in 2nd place with 2 impressive bass good enough for 8.75 pound was Tim Cooper. One of Tim’s two big largemouths weighed 4.89 pounds and took big bass honors for the day. Word at weigh in was that Tim caught both fish late in the day. The late day heroics pushed Tim into first place in the Angler of the Year race with only one tournament to go. Joshua O’Neill, the 2013 Glenn Flint winner, brought 3 bass to the scales this time around and took 3rd place with an even 8.24 pounds. Coming in 4th place with 2 bass for 4.64 pounds was David Replogle. 5th place went to Rick Goodyear who had 1 fish that went 3.72 pounds.

WRBM will be at it again on September 14th at Brookville Lake in Brookville, IN.
