6/15 - Giest
7/20 - Mississinewa

Top 8s:
FLW 4/26/27 @ Morse/Giest
BASS - May 10/11 @ Wawasee

Top 8:
We will compete in both FLW and Bass top 8.   Both will receive equal club contribution for the cost.  The Top 8 will have first choice to fish both, and any vacated spots will be filled by final season placings, on down the list until field is full.   This years 8, we have one vacancy for Bass (Jurgo), Tim and Drep, Big D unknown.  Brian Voorhis is first alternant followed by KVD.  Rest are planning to fish both as it stands now.  Ben is captain of BASS top 8 team and Big D for FLW.

Point System:
We will retain the current format of 50 show points, 100 for the win and on down 99,98,97 etc for placing.  However, there will be bonus points awarded on top of that of 1 point per pound weighed in, rounding up .5 and up to the next highest pound.   This will reward consistent anglers and a bonus for anyone who weighs in, virtually eliminate ties.  1st place in points at season end will be AOY.

Rule change (late take off and weigh in):
Take off - The field will launch at the designated time regardless if everyone is there or not.  If you are late, it is your responsibility to locate another club member on the lake to have livewell checked prior to fishing and must indicate at that time if you are in the big bass pot or not and can pay at the weigh in.  This does not penalize those who are on time (normally this is not an issue, but has surfaced on a couple of times).  Suggest folks gather some cell phone numbers and would also advise to contact an officer if you are going to be late, especially if you are a boater w/ a co-angler.  If your co-angler is there and there are single boaters, co-angler should be placed with one of the singles.  Also suggest arrive at least 45-30 minutes ahead of launch so our director and secretary have time to get their rigs/gear in.  Especially at a place like Monroe, where the lot will likely be near full and a cluster.

Weigh in:
Since this came up this year and in the past, there needed to be clarification and some structure to this procedure.
Tournament director or assistant will at time of take off or entry fee payment, give the official current time and weigh in time verbally or with written format with all the pertinent information.  Director or assistant will check everyone off at the designated area ( bouys, ramp, bridge, etc) upon return.  If you are late ( and boaters and non boaters share the time keeping responsibility) 1 lb per minute penalty will be assessed up to 10 minutes, at which time the angler/anglers are DQed from weighing in, but shall still receive the 50 show points only.
